The client’s excavator bucket, used in heavy-duty quarry operations, had suffered significant wear and damage due to the abrasive nature of the materials it handled daily. Cracks and deformations had compromised the structural integrity of the bucket, reducing its efficiency in excavation tasks and increasing the risk of equipment failure.
D&J Mechanical Engineering Co Ltd was tasked with repairing the damaged bucket. The team carried out extensive welding repairs, reinforcing weak points and restoring structural strength. Additionally, the bucket edges were rebuilt and hardened to withstand the abrasive conditions it was subjected to. The entire process was completed in our workshop, ensuring that the bucket would be durable enough for continued heavy use.
The repaired bucket was returned to the quarry and put back into operation. The client immediately noticed an improvement in performance, with the bucket handling heavy loads with ease. The reinforced structure reduced the risk of future damage and significantly extended the bucket’s operational life, minimizing the need for frequent repairs.
